CAILIN APPOINTED CHAIR OF VOCAL STUDIES AT LONGY SCHOOL OF MUSIC

The Longy School of Music of Bard College, an all-graduate-level conservatory of music in Cambridge, Massachusetts, known for its mission in social justice, and training musical artists to be agents of change,

has appointed CAILIN its new Chair of Vocal Studies.

CAILIN PROMOTED TO FULL PROFESSOR AT CLARK UNIVERSITY

In his fifth year at the institution and his second year as Program Head of Music, Clark University has promoted CAILIN to the rank of Full Professor of Practice.

CAILIN remains Director of Music Performance, in which he leads the performance curriculum at Clark, and conducts the Clark University Choirs and the Clark University Symphony Orchestra.

CAILIN FEATURED IN RECENT NEWS AND PODCASTS

CAILIN received broad press coverage for his work with the Springfield Symphony Orchestra on their Education Concerts, the debut release of John's Aylward's opera Oblivion on New Focus Recordings, and the sold-out blockbuster performance of Puccini's Turandot in Mechanics Hall.

MIDAMERICA PRODUCTIONS APPOINTS CAILIN AS ARTISTIC CONSULTANT

MidAmerica Productions, in its 40th season of concerts in New York City, has appointed CAILIN its Artistic Consultant for its 2024 Season at Carnegie Hall and other international residencies ongoing.

CAILIN CELEBRATES 20 YEARS OF CONDUCTING WITH HIS CARNEGIE HALL DEBUT

CAILIN made a smashing debut at Carnegie Hall conducting the MESSA DA REQUIEM of Giuseppe Verdi on March 11. The residency, hosted by MidAmerica Productions, included CAILIN's numerous choirs, four world-class soloists, and the New England Symphonic Ensemble.

CAILIN NAMED 2023 ACOM FELLOW

CAILIN has been named a member of the Arts and Culture Organizational Management: Strategic Perspectives (ACOM) 2023 cohort.

 

ACOM is a one-week intensive program run by the American Repertory Theater designed in collaboration with the Initiative to Advance Racial Equity at the Harvard Business School.

 

The program connects and uplifts selected BIPOC-identifying arts leaders from arts organizations from cultural organizations across Massachusetts representing a diversity of artistic disciplines and experiences.

CAILIN NAMED 2021 CREATIVE COMMUNITY FELLOW

National Arts Strategies named CAILIN a member of the 2021-2022 cohort of Creative Community Fellows: New England. 25 candidates were selected, recognized as creative entrepreneurs and change agents whose work, practice, and exciting projects foster positive change in New England communities.

NH CHRONICLE SPOTLIGHTS CAILIN AND THE KEENE CHORALE 

The NH Chronicle featured CAILIN and The Keene Chorale in a special spotlight as they prepared for the New England Premiere of Robert Nathaniel Dett's oratorio, The Ordering of Moses. 

This concert was supported by the Saxton Family - Alfred Nash Patterson Grant from Choral Arts New England.
